The Otorohanga Kiwi House is a registered charity so every visit to the Kiwi House supports our conservation work. Visits to the park are self-guided with guaranteed opportunities to see active kiwi in our nocturnal enclosures. Experience NZ’s unique forest birds and tuatara in NZ’s largest fee-flight enclosure. Meet kea, kaka, whio and other endangered NZ birds and reptiles up close at our daily scheduled keeper talks (Covid-19 restrictions may apply). Learn about our breeding programmes to help conserve NZ’s taonga species. Admission to the park is open for two consecutive days. Opening hours are 10am-4pm daily. We are open every day except Dec 25th.
